Animated portal passage and combined journey acceptance
Implement US-004/005 in tasks/prd-adventure-modules-and-presentation.md. Session-owned adapter with entry, indefinite travel loop and readiness-controlled exit using Mike's portal artwork, initially a simple animated placeholder. Preserve coverage, responsive leave/retry, custody, flight release and stale-callback isolation. Profile cold/warm loads; test two clients, both directions, cargo, refusal, disconnect, respawn and both module fixtures. Finish with weekend first-expedition acceptance; record limitations honestly.

Animated portal passage and combined journey acceptance: In progress to Shipped.
Animated portal passage and combined journey acceptance: reviewed. [MCP] Committed and pushed 77962c20 to claude/sector-report. Combined local journey and recovery checks pass. Remains in progress: replace placeholder artwork, address roughly 0.3-second scene-construction hitch, and complete remaining manual acceptance. Broad all-tier run passed 166/168; corrected fixture/startup issues and subsequent clock-seeding recovery issue. Final affected regression passed 12/12 across all tiers, including complete network timeline and sustained-fire checks (build/trials/regression/20261002-084823/). No thresholds relaxed. Source-only local slice; Steam remains 52.230.
Animated portal passage and combined journey acceptance: Next up to In progress. [MCP] Placeholder portal adapter is integrated with opaque hold, ready-frame exit and authoritative flight release. Rendered round trip passes. Cached geography roughly halves measured frame gaps, but about 0.3 seconds of scene-construction hitch remains; final artwork and full smoothness acceptance are unfinished. Final combined all-tier regression is running.
Added to slice First complete expedition.
Animated portal passage and combined journey acceptance: Awaiting review to Next up, published on the board, summary updated. [MCP] Mike corrected the slice to include his latest adventure requests and authorized implementation today. Preserve these as committed work; weekend readiness is the acceptance pass.
