SITREP 42.199: The Panels Come Off
Build 42.199 is on Steam. Alpha. Cockpit screens gone, everything on the Blitzer Visor. Loose loot, fuel cells, two mounted missiles. Continuous sectors with caves, Vesper packs, Bloom convoys and a quieter rift. Netcode repaired. Four flights wanted.

New
- Cockpit screens are gone. Hull, cargo, six slots, speed, contacts and warnings live on the Blitzer Visor. Hold Tab or LB for detail. Graphics options has a Visor effects slider.
- Loose loot: fuel cells, hull repairs, missiles. 1 to 6 picks, R uses, F siphons or docks. Two missiles mount on the hull. Die and your items drop where you died.
- No rounds. A seeded Broken Belt with caves, Vesper packs in the caves, Bloom convoys on the rift, a Queen that keeps Defenders on patrol, and a rift that only shouts inside its collapse radius.
Fixed
- Netcode: no stumbling on clock steps or host stalls, a third of the snapshot traffic, freeze recovery without teleporting.
- Lasers stay on the barrel that fired them. The gunsight sits where the guns fire, through free look.
- Bay doors wait for the bay.
